one of the most awesome crazyass bands i've ever heard.

I think they're great. I was thinking the other day, however, that their next record has to involve some sort of considerable, significant evolution. They found a unique sound, honed it in, perfected it, (and maybe went one album too far), and now it's time to make the next move. Maybe add a noise-specialist, or something. That would be great. Off the top of my head, the guy who did the Damsel record would sound great with Ahleuchatistas. Any other ideas?

I agree, I think a few more of the slower, prettier sections of their songs should be included, as hey give a sort of break from the crazy math rock/beefheart style stuff, maybe occasionally use some fuzz on the guitars...

i started a thread about 4 weeks ago about these guys and was amazed with the lack of replies. amazing band......

as soon as i heard them, i thought "hella .. if hella really liked captain beefheart.." because some of the weird ass guitar lines are totally from trout mask replica school.

excellent band.
