I mentioned them in the "Worst Band Names" thread, I believe. I wouldn't listen to them based solely on the name.

they were absolutely dreadful when I had the misfortune of having to wait through their set which went on way longer than any opener had any right to. derivative and unoriginal

Really? Maybe they suck live. I agree, their music isn't anything exciting but from the first two albums that I have heard from them it's pretty good.

they are alright. tom prudhommes band right? didnt steve shelley produce something? i know they released stuff on smells like records anyway. i thought they were ok. they are not my bongos is an alright album. never got round to buying it but its not shit by any means

You should listen to Pardon My French. It's a pretty decent album.
