ZACH HILL

Zach Hill (born December 28, 1981) is a musician residing in Sacramento, California. Primarily known for his drumming, he performs/has performed in numerous Pacific Coast based groups, including his primary group, Hella, as well as Holy Smokes, Nervous Cop, and a diverse range of others including Team Sleep (featuring Chino Moreno of Deftones), Goon Moon, Marnie Stern, Crime in Choir, The Ladies (a duo with Rob Crow of Pinback), Bygones (a duo with Nick Reinhart of Tera Melos) and Flossin (a collaboration with Christopher Willits and rotating members Kid606, Matmos, Nate Boyce and Carson McWhirter). Zach is completely self taught, having started drumming around 1995.

MONSTER KILLED BY LASER
Formed way back in 2001 as 3 now 4. Instro Prog Rock heavily influenced by brooding soundtracks, Black music and culture, conceptual recordings and the hair line of King Crimson's Adrian Belew circa 84. Had dream to open up for Melvins, achived it! whats next? bring it on fuckers, we'll send y back to yo mama's with tears and blood bubble snots.. As seen with Melvins, ASVA, Acid Mothers, Big Buisness, USA Is A Monster, Oxes, Porn, Coughs, Wolf Eyes, Lords, Dalek, Bilge Pump. Even The Cribs and The Pigeon Detectives have had the Laser treatment on they ass, and let us tell you, there is nothing more satisfying than to see 1000 (yes a thousand) indie kids stare at you with a "What the fuck is happening dad" look on their pre pubecent faces while we ring the balls out of that PA system. Currently working on a new full length work of Prog mastery set for release in 09, to sum it all up, the Laser brings the motherfuckin ruckas so check yo shit at the door because we wont stand for it!
