Remixes of a long running anonymous noise/dark ambient/spoken word collective based in Portland Oregon. Dead Air Fresheners have several releases out there but we are pleased to have the first remix collection. Five bands contribute versions, all retaining that DAF dark surreal vibe. full color insert and print, numbered edition of 50 cdrs.

The Year of the Lips tracks are stellar.

The other artists involved are Aural Resuscitation Unit (from Dubuque IA) Wolfgang Macivor (from Halifax NS), Jennifer Robin (from PDX OR) and Boyd Andersson (from PDX OR). They aren't really remixes in that Dead Air Fresheners wrote all of the pieces in collaboration with the other artists. Also Dead Air Fresheners have members in Seattle, Tacoma, and Olympia WA as well as PDX, though these recordings were more PDX personnel based than some other albums. It encapsulates a really fucked up year for me, so to have something productive to look back on is sort of redeeming.
