Iggy is a great songwriter. No doubt about it. The mantra sessions are an interesting listen. Has some different approaches to some of his stuff. One thing I really like is the background stuff- like what I believe is piano in the background of Gimme Danger, I Wanna Be Yr Dog, and The Passenger.

Does anyone know if Gimme Danger was inspired by the Stones Gimme Shelter? I swear I hear a little bit of Gimme Shelter in some of the guitar parts. Maybe I'm crazy.

How drunk do I sound though? Obviously not sloppy drunk, but I think my rhythm was a bit off.

the tone of gimme shelter and gimme danger are similar if that makes sense at all.
