Gast, it is very accurate what you're saying. : ) Recently I was saying to myself, existence can be simplified as consisting of consciousness and homeostasis. homeostasis is the material side and its ways, consciousness is the perceptual and communicating side and its ways, and they mix! : )

Also your idea corresponds very well to the yin and yang diagram!
