Common sense should tell you that you have no right to take something, or someone elses life in your own hands and test on it without consent.

Putting shampoo and other forms of cosmetics or whatever you want to call it in the eye of a rabbit to see if it's an imbarable pain or not and to see its reaction and affect, is definitely not an advancement in mankind. It's unecessary and it is wrong. It's not just rats that are being tested on, it's also rabbits, monkeys and all sorts of animals.

Many people I know, including my partner and I use cosmetics and creams etc that are not tested on animals. What's your excuse in using them if it's proven that it is not necessary?

your missing the point of what i am saying. none of my relatives that died could have been saved from anything to do with medical experiments on animals. thats a fact. i think that there are other ways of doing things. then again i am not a left winger who agrees with what a lot of animal rights campaigners do.

I don't want to burst your bubbles, but new drugs for cancer and other illnesses are tested on terminal patients all the time. I know a few people that were told they had 3 months to live and are still walking around, after having gone through such a test.
