difficult... it always used to be crooked rain, crooked rain for me because that was the first one i heard when it came out and it's the one that got me interested in them. but now i'm probably more leaning to either slanted+enchanted or wowee zowee... i haven't listened to any of their albums in a while though.

This is a tough one for Chex. Is it CR,CR or Slanted? Well, i went with CR. i think this is the one that they developed THE pavement sound as i know it: the lazy, offkilter, slacker feel. i.e newark wilder, heavan is a truck, range life. Slanted has more energy and is more original amongst their records.

I'm going to go with Wowee Zowee. Every song on that album is great and amazing it's simply one of the best albums ever.
However the output i listen to by pave most is the 2'nd disk of the crooked rain deluxe edition.
