hey, i tried to use the tape recorder on an ancient stereo and, while the deck is fucked beyond recognition, it makes for amazing noise!!! it goes from to wind sounds to theremin-like to growling fucked stuff, it's awesome!!!

but yeah, i can't take part on this thing, sorry, maybe if it happens sometime in the future i will by then have the right equipment. can someone recommend me a good tape recorder with aux/line in?

I'm sending them tomorrow (Tuesday), apart from Finding Nobody's which I'll send as soon as it arrives. I'm sending the tapes as they came to me, so if your name's not written on it then the recipient won't know who it's from, you'll have to say if you want me to tell you who it's from. Adds to the mystery!

i included the track listing. but i wrote it on a sheet of paper and stuck inside the tape box, so you dont have to look

That's the risk of doing it this way. But if you take part in the next round, you won't get a tape from the same person. Although you may hate the next person's stuff as well I suppose.

At least we know that we've all got something in common when it comes to music and that's a pretty good starting point.
