'Tamra' is actually one of their very best improvisational tracks. If it had been recorded a few years later, it would definitely have been SYR-worthy. All in all, Whore's Moaning is a nice little EP--or short LP, or whatever. It offers up a good yet brief overview of the band and their capabilities--from pop to grunge to covers to improvisation. Concise, revealing, accurate. An overlooked little gem--right down to the blue marbled vinyl.
