HELP! Cool things to ask Steve Diggle (Buzzcocks) in an interview!

dudes, you won't believe it, but i'm interviewing Steve Diggle from the Buzzcocks within 30 minutes, so i need some fresh ideas on what INTERESTING and funny to ask him. i am so excited i just walk around my office and smoke like there's no tomorrow. so, i need help with questions besides the usual musical journo bullcrap questions.
suggestions?

PS i am seeing the Buzzcocks and Mudhoney on 20 and 21 may in Greece.

Agg, I can't think of anything at the moment but that's amazing you get to meet interesting people like that. Good luck for your interview, though I'm sure you probably won't need it. I'll try to think of something...

hehe, i won't be meeting Steve in personal, becuz he's touring france right now, but i got a phonecall arranged with him. my mind is totally blown somefuckingwhere....

ask him about how they worte "ever fallen in love", i know it's not clever or funny but i just want to know how such a great song came about.

ask him about how they got into punk, what were their reaction to what was going on, seeing all those bands for the first time, getting inspired and getting together, gobbing, etc.

i dunno...

I would like to know what he thinks of current Fall, seeing as they played a couple of gigs together way back when, and seeing as the Fall are better now than they were then, and the Buzzcocks are living off a couple of hits they had some time 20-odd years ago.

Perhaps ask him if he still lives in Manchester as well, I suspect he'll open up if you ask him about his background, more so than if you just ask, "What guitar did you use on..." or, "What inspired [insert lyric x]"

What does he think of the current music of today? Also of the trends and such.

Is he content with his life and the way he's lived it?

Who was his favorite person that he has met?

I don't know. yeah, they're not interesting.

it was great. i am just back from the talk. he was so kind and funny and all. i brushed red all the time. we talked shit a lot, great!!!! im lost for words now. i am leaving the board now, i gotta go for a practice with my band, but tomorrow when i get back here in my office i would write more about it def-ly.
for fuck sake i couldn't even imagine i did this!
