I've been looking for this forever.

I remember seeing it when I Love The 80's first came on (and before I was into SY), and its always been in the back of my mind.

on the subject of vh-1 nostalgia shows, tonight they are airing their top 100 songs of the '80s. i was thinking about starting a topic about it that would be sure to ire us all concerning their egregious omissions. it's mainstream media though, so what should we expect exactly?

in other news, madonna was on gma this morning and meredith viera interviews her tonight on dateline: nbc. nbc will air a concert of hers later this month minus the faux crucifixion theatrics, of course. she will also appear on live with regis and kelly friday morning.

I missed Madonna on GMA; I just heard about it.

Courtney was also on The View this morning hawking her Dirty Blonde book. She looks like a cow, but she did seem like she's been laying off the hard drugs for real this time.

yeah, i saw that. she really needs to ditch the hair extensions and fake tan. she looks like a different person. although i suppose crack and plastic surgery will do that to you.

Yeah thats pretty much my mothers reaction to Sonic Youth.

This Summer everyone in the neighbourhood was blasting out 50 Cent and all that crap for hours on end, so i decided to get my own back and open up all the windows and play my Sonic Youth and John Cage records very, very loud (im sure the sale of aspirin went through the roof).....man it was a good summer! lol

stupid asshole tv show.......i don't feel i'm "smart" for listening to SY......i loathe everything 'retro' for cool's sake......only suckers watch tv...."smart" people turn it off, or at least watch reruns of Sanford and Son and Press Yr Luck.......then again, i have no cable, so it may be the jealousy talking.......though i think not.
