Hey all,

Was listening to some music the other day and heard a striking resemblance between:

I'm Happy - Jim O'rourke (link)

and

Son of Gothic Chord - John White & Gavin Bryars. unfortunately, no link, but the wiki is here

I'm trying to figure out if it is a sample that Jim is working with there.

I'm also interested if anyone knows anything about the type of processing he might be doing (if it is, in fact, a sample)

that record was from memory purely constructed on computer , no? so in that yeah, I'd presume he would be processing the sample you're talking about, despite not knowing anything about it haaaaaa
