I like both the band's (especially Lee's) performance and the propagandist imagery/slogans in Youth Against Fascism, but I don't get the motorbikes - what do they mean, if anything?

Bull in the Heather is probably my favorite. The imagery really seems to fit the song, for some reason. SY is my favorite band, but I think their vidoes are hit or miss. Some of them really don't do it for me.

Dirty Boots.

It's so innocent and romantic. Like all you had to do was grow long hair, wear a Sonic Youth shirt, and go to a cool club and you'd meet the hot babe of your dreams.

It's also very much a document of the grunge era, isn't it? All that flannel and hair.

Sweet. Dumb maybe, but very innocent and pure.

Sunday has got to be Sonic Youths best and kick ASS VIDEO!!!!

alongside Empty Page (kudos Chris) and The Diamond Sea.

Sunday by Harmony Korine, the use of Macauley K. is brilliant and the video is cut very beautifull with intimate and funny foot (Thurston jamming the banjo with Culkin is legendary in my scrapbook).
He used these incredible cameras to createthat awesome slowed down effect + the rapid effects.

ugh i hate the dirty boots vid. it is soooo cheesy! i love the addicted to love vid too! i thought i was the only one who liked that song. cool! anyways yeah i forgot about mildred pierce. chabib needs to put the videos back up like they used to be on the old website. it sucks now. all the good ones are gone.
