I only started posting regularly on this board because the one I used to frequent sort of died out. It has slowly been getting better, but this board still gets much more activity. But I could do without posting on a message board. It is sometimes fun, and is a good way to kill time, but if this one crapped out or shut down, I wouldn't go off in search of another.

The only reason I'm on one of these things is because of my sick love for the Sonic Truth. I lurked around since 2001, but didn't actively join in on the fun because I didn't really have the itch to say anything/post and when I was in college the last thing I wanted to be doing was anything involving extra typing/reading. It's pretty fun and there are a lot of awesome people here. If it would shutdown then I'd go to another if everyone else did, but if not I couldn't see myself joining another forum.

I probably wouldn't post anywhere else if this board closed down. I'm signed up to three others (Nick Cave, Einstuerzende Neubauten, Cowboy Junkies), but I only post on them once in a blue moon.

If you told me that I'd be shot if I didn't start using another forum I'd probably go to ihatemusic. Although that place does seem to have more than its fair share of twats.
