Alliteration

i keep thinking of random sentences that use alliteration while i'm at work so i started writing them down. figured a thread to post such sentences in would be interesting.

the velveteen voice vibrantly vocalized, verbatim, the violent vulgarity of the variety of voracious vortices venting vicariously through vagabonds' virulent venom.

not to nitpick but that's not alliteration, that's assonance-- it's the same effect but with vowels instead of consonants, eg. (for this thread) lilliputian log licker-- etc., etc.

To nitpick assonance is a type of alliteration.

And assonance is more usually used to create internal rhyme. For example You Blew Sue's Flue.
