NYCG&F is one of my favourite SY albums ! I liked it the moment I heard it, I really have no idea why its gets such a negative response. 'Small Flowers' and 'NYC Ghosts' still sends shivers down my spine when I play it. That Pitchfork review was so out of line. The only reason i can think of is that maybe 'Nevermind' being the lead single left a bad taste in people's mouths.

Im listening to it right now. Its one of the albums that I really want to like but I just can't get into it. I think for me its the lyrics...they seem more dull and boring than their other lyrics. There are some good musical concepts though.

By far my favorite of the albums released after Daydream Nation.

It's such a great album, it boggles my mind.
