Yeah, Squarepusher rules. Dude's just a melodic genius. I can't think of a single electronic artist who writes better melodies than him. Sure, his stuff doesn't always work -- he has yet to make a completely consistent full length album -- but his best songs are literally the best.

Case for the Daft Punk rip-off - vocal treatment is a bit like Daft Punk's Harder Faster Stronger (or whatever it was)

Drums are live sampled - disparity with DP
'Overall style' is dance music - neither invented it 'Bass sound' is distorted 'as live' - DP stick to heavily processed samples, which if they're live, rarely sound so. You have shit for ears.
