I watched the flaming lips on Austin City Limits the other day. That was the oddest thing I have ever seen? And then just for shits and giggles, these guys went from some happy go lucky technoish indie alt rock song, into a FLAWLESS rendition of WARPIGS!
The guitar player was wearing a fucking bunny costume and yet, he had Iommi DOWN!

Some of the new album is really noodly in a 70s kind of way, which is cool, Sound almost like the best lounge band in the world in parts.
Yeah Yeah Yeah Song drove me mental initially, to be honest the lyrics are awful, but it is a fantastic tune. As someone who found Yoshimi a little too breezy it's nice to hear them play with a bit more spine. |
