 An excuse to put on your dancing shoes?  Tonight at the Max Lang gallery, Repetto is celebrating its 60th birthday by (how else?) letting 60 creative icons tamper with its classic kicks. Marc Jacobs, Kim Gordon, Vanessa Beecroft, and Helmut Lang are among the notables involved, though our favorite pair is by Proenza Schouler's Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, who give an extra helping of élan to the legendary lace-up skimmers Serge Gainsbourg used to favor. If you see something you like, wait till October, when the shoes will be auctioned off in Paris to benefit the company's partnership with UNESCO.
