Boston SY/FLIPs--- WTF!?!? Tickets?

Does anyone know what is going on with the SY/Flips show in Boston in September? Tickets were supposed to go on sale today but now the show seems to be moved or something. grr

i checked the boston pavillion website and it has the flaming lips down for sept 10 but NO mention of sonic youth..........

There was no explanation as to why the Boston show was cancelled. I expect people will keep making threads until that is answered. If it was, I'm an asshole and I await the flamage.

it seems to me that sy are playing on the 3rd at a venue that is to be announced... i think if we just wait paitontly the answer will be shown to us very soon

Well I'm glad their not playing at the Pavilion. I would rather see them at The Roxy or one of the clubs on Landsdowne street.

It would be cool to see them at a club, but the combo of the lips AND sonic youth would make for an amazing night. Someone's management must have messed up on this one.

looks like the SY/FL show won't go on, which is fine by me...they are playing Avalon. much better than going to the Pavilion.
