I really like them both - you just get more variety of sounds with the Moogerfooger, but the Frequency Analyzer is great too.

Really? That is odd. I thought the filter removed the lower frequencies, so with the filter off I would assume they would sound similar.

Good deal! did you get the reissue?

what about the control knobs and effect out / direct out?
Looks it hasnt any low freq oscillator and exp. pedal plug....

The Frequency Analyzer adds two notes to your signal - one low and one high to which you can blend with your original signal. When you activate the Filter On switch, it cuts the higher added signal and boosts the bass immensely - more than I expected.

Yep, it's a recent reissue.

That's the big difference between the two, the Moog having the LFO thus allowing more sounds.

Oh, I always assumed that the filter was on when it was to the left. I do love it when the switch is to the right and it is lower in the mix. It can really beef up your guitar tone.

I still haven't done my frequency analyzer mod yet though, it is going to be so awesome. I'll be able to use an LFO, external sequencer, square wave VCO, and an expression pedal. It will be the most kick ass ring mod ever.

You better post some sounds when you do that mod!

Oh I will. I will. Just going to be awhile. I need to buy or build a cab for my Bassman head, pay for my Bassman repairs, and buy a 4-track first. I'm also thinking about buying a fuzz factory too.

But getting my frequency analyzer project done will be something rather significant to me because then I can start saving up for a looper and a guitar synth.

I've had my eye on a Fuzz Factory too, but I own two distortion pedals already, so that would be silly.
I'm finding the more pedals I buy, the more I want.
I did just buy a real pedalboard (with a gig bag) though and it's on it's way. Completely covered in velcro! $30 on ebay.

Sounds like a steal. My pedal board is plywood with strips of velcro glued on. It works. I need to get a case big enough for it.

ahah it's definitely acute G.A.S!
I got recently on eBay an early Ibanez digital delay dl10 from Japan and the DOD octoplus from the States but they are still on the way.

I find this solution to transport them, I have just to slip off plastic spacers and slip off the boards from the 4 iron sticks.

Hey, that works. Hope you like your new pedals when you get 'em.
