I went to a really cool festival in Tokyo this past weekend. It had 36 Japanese bands with a nice variety of sounds. Here's the link to the event:

I'm going to try to put together about four videos from it... I was so impressed by the level of enthusiasm every band brought to the stage. It wasn't really a festival for the public, but just for the people that help keep this little scene alive. I went last year because Melt Banana played, and I had seen them in Chicago a bunch. This year, I did my homework and found a whole new crop of bands to enjoy.

Here's my first video that I made. If you're interested, I can give you the band's name and a little info about them. They were all so kind to me and didn't mind chatting me up in my terrible Japanese.
