did they record it really in the schwarzwald?
or is this just because of the sound of the name? the second liars album was highly influenced by the "harz" mountains in germany and the fairytales around it ( for example: meeting place for witches, burning them down on walpurgis etc.) and thats exactly the place where Ive grown up. when I am listening to it it reminds me instantly of the strange atmosphere the harz gave me. they really hit the spot there
