They played my house on the first reunion tour, and it was incredible. They played in Davis again a few months back. It was still pretty good, but not as tight. But they are one of the few bands that can actually captivate me live for an hour-and-a-half-long set. Totally masterful.

SR is one of those bands i got into too late to see them play...i did have Bruce Licher print our wedding invites, though.

i love this band...virtually everything they've put out is worth owning (not too keen on the vocal version of _Ceremonial_), and even w/o Bruce the new one is good.

Please tell me more. I just purchased a copy of Bruce Licher's "Exploratorium" cdr, and it's stunning. The notes to it refer to a track “A Journey Through The Outer Reaches Of Inner Space” on Scenic’s ”The Acid Gospel Experience” CD. Is this a good Scenic one to buy, or are there others you'd recommend ahead of it?

Sorry to admit, I don't own their records. One of those bands I always played on my radio show in Olympia that now that I'm not at KAOS, I don't have access to anymore. The ones I knew were Incident at Cima and Acquatica which were both awesome. Apparently they've done quite a few other records since, which I just found by googling. I wonder if SR being back makes Scenic a thing of the past (at least for the moment)?
