Some of you might be interested to know that there's a 90 minute documentary on the history of Rough Trade Records, which starts tonight on BBC4.

It's also followed by an hour of Top Of The Pops performances from some of their bands.

I heard Noddy Holder, of all people, talking it up on Stuart Maconie's show on Radio 2 last night - it sounds really good.

I must get one of my digibox-owning friends to record it for me.

Pretty interesting.
I used to love going to the Rough Trade Shop in Talbot Rd in the early 80's
You could get all sorts of weird and wonderful stuff in there.

Strange how they've come from releasing The Normal's TVOD and Nag Nag Nag by Cabaret Voltaire to having a number one with Duffy.

Yeah, defiently. That opening sequence with Duffy performing made me think I was on the wrong channel for a second.
