I sure as fuck do. Another band I should have heard last year and instead heard two days ago. Two songs on thier myspace convinced me to already hunt down "Fragnments of the Universe Nurse" lp and "Rare Little Creatures" 7". Damn, amazing. If I had heard "Fragments" last year it would easily been in my top 10. Like most of my current favorite bands, lower than lo-fi pop/punk with noise undertones. But like Sic Alps tears apart 60s psych nuggets, doo-wop, early punk, and soul, and Eat Skull reworks quirkyp pop compositions into screaming hardcore ragers, these guys take on sci-fi psychedelia ala Hawkwind and pound it into 3 minute lo fi noise pop anthems. A lot more wierder sounds going on than most bands in this genre. I guess the band closest to them in aesthetic would be the current Hospitals. The more raging parts of Cheveu too.
