to my ears, it sounds to slick, not that it sounds like def leppard or anything but it's just too layered for an acoustic guitar man album.

i'm also folkaphobic, but it's getting better, i like a lot of that stuff now, but not everything that has that sound.

funny thing is devendra got me into the acoustic guitar neo hippie troubadour thing in the first place, because niño rojo and the other one whose name escapes me at the moment and i'm to lazy to google, both have this grainy quality and devendra is a great songwriter.

i enjoy the fuzziness of it quite a lot. i saw him at coachella and i think it may have been my favorite act, though i don't really know much about him, but he looks lovely with facial hair.

Should I do an expanded poll to include all the Stones albums? I basically have all the studio albums, up until Some Girls, at least, and then the collection understandably gets spotty, plus a few bootlegs. Want to do this again through Tattoo You, or am I being a pain in the ass?
