Also, I don't understand why it's so hard for people to just agree with me. The influence is there, it's not some complex code to decipher. Okay so you hate pop songs that last three minutes. You have decided that you're not going to expand your musical horizons because of some self-imposed limitation, whatever. Just understand where influences come from; it's not a sin for a band to learn their tricks from people in the past.
