A place in Cork city, Ireland where Sonic Youth and Nirvana kicked off their 1990 european tour (the year punk broke tour) called Sir Henries is closing down! Ever since they played there almost 2 decades ago it's become the ledgendary Cork gig, half the people who were old enough to have been there say they were and they other half wish they were, my uncle was there and he stole a can of cider from Kurst Novosellic from Nirvana and (he clames) they chased him around to get it back, for a can of cheap scrumpy jack. But anyway I think it would be really cool of Sonic Youth came back and played Sir Henries again before it closes for good, I think it's being made into a club, just like every other boring, stupid techno music, that has the same god damn rythem for every song! But anyway i'm sure the guy who get's their coffee boys coffee wont read this...so what a pointless thing to do. I'm ashamed of my self really! My mother always said if you ever do anything make sure it's not wearing a red onion on your belt, white ones! White ones she'd say. We could only get white ones on account of the war.

sir henrys is well gone... my mate has a pink vinyl copy of bleach signed by all the members of nirvana at that gig, he has the photo to prove it as well.....
