I don`t know how many of you have bought vinyls from this label, but if you do, I think you should be a little bit suspicious. Just got Beefheart Somewhere over Detroit and it has horrible recording quality. I am really low-fi person (I think recording quality in Stooges Metallic K.O. first side is ok) but I think this has recorded from the audience in very poor equipment (audience voice is lauder than music). Beefheart & band played absolutely fantastic way, but still I donīt think I will listen this much. All the others I have bought from this label (Dr. John, Tom Waits, Lou Reed, Yes) have been just great, also I got same time as Beefheart J.J. Cales Ebbets Field 1975 which is dynamite (specially when there are really rare 50/60 singles added in the last side in a very good recording quality). But because this Beefheart-case I wonīt trust this label anymore. Only bootlegging label which havenīt made any shit seems to be Swingin`Pig.
