You could get people some controlled substances and be a middle-man too.

But no, you'd rather beg people for money.

I'm telling you all, that no matter whatever happened to me, I could never be a beggar...ever. I don't despise them, in fact, I often will listen to them or give them a little spare change. I've even been somewhat acquainted with a few street crazies in my life. I particularly vividly recall one bored Saturday summer afternoon on College Square in Athens as I sat in on a game of "baseball." But, I just know I could never do it.
And the thing is, I know would be excellent at being a beggar, but that doesn't matter.

It isn't that I'd rather beg. In fact, I'm not begging at all. I sold a few of my old shirts today, and got $10 bucks out of it. I'm talking to people about selling my guitar pedal.

I want a real job, I've been getting applications, and I'm waiting for my work permit.

The problem with going out to look for a small hard labor job is that my parents wouldn't let me do it. They wouldn't drive me, they wouldn't let there 'precious son' go out and do work for strangers. I'm surpised and grateful that they are allowing me to attend the Xiu Xiu show with only my sister.

I was also wondering if anyone ever had a job like this next one.
It was me, some middle-aged couple, and an old black man everyone called "Pop."
We would stand over the big sink in our coveralls and our industrial-thickness rubber gloves. With large scaling knives in hand, we would have to scale and gut two tons of mullet over that sink every Wednesday; it was later distributed to rural and low-income area supermarkets all over Northeast Georgia.
The rest of the week was stocking and loading and unloading trucks at the back of the storefront or doing delivery routes.

When you do a job like that, you always smell like fish, no matter what you do.

Of course, I'll take the above any day over having to swing a maddock (large concrete hammer, mini-sledge hammer) around from six hours a day.

And they aren't close to kicking me out. My sister is 18, going to community college, has a job at a Juice It Up (shift manager), and still living at home. I don't think they're going kick me out any time soon, however I do plan on leaving for college after highschool.

So on the more serious note, what are the chances of Xiu Xiu selling out at the Troubadour. It is on a Tuesday, so I don't know if a lot of people will be going, but I really have no clue.

How early should I get there to ensure that I can buy tickets at the door. It really is a lot cheaper at the door, and I think if I really want to go, I'll have to do it that way.

When I saw Xiu Xiu it was at Triple Rock which is smaller than the Troubador and there were like 50 people there is all. I doubt it will sell out. I'll e-mail Jamie and see if he thinks it will sell out.
