he should resign, he should never been in a position of pwer in the first place.

i am not sure if he will but it is possible as so many problems have arrisen from this man being in charge of 'defence'.

If I'm not mistaken Rumsfelfd offered to resign around election time '04 and Bush refused it. I wouldn't hold my breath if your hoping for a new Secretary of War.

Rumsfeld will never be fired. Only the entire world wants him fired, but Bush won't fire Rummy out of spite and arrogance alone..nevermind the political implications that it would have on bush's job. I really wish we could get rid of all these clowns in the WH and republican controlled congress.

yeah, you know for republicans it has always been more important to be energetic and having steady leadership than to be effective. as long as you believe in your actions rather than doing it well, you can be a successful republican... believing is most important in republican world... even if every of your actions fail.

In a report a Pentagon spokesman denounced as "fiction," Salon quoted a December 2005 Army inspector general's report in which officers told of Rumsfeld's direct contact with the general overseeing the interrogation at the U.S. naval base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
