Hey All- I think some of you are familiar with House of Alchemy records, which as released material by VXPXC, Peter Wright, Antique Brothers and I have done art for several releases. Adam's, who owns HOA, daughter was recently diagnosed with cancer in her pelvic region and several of his friends have gotten together to work on some fundraising benefits. Here is an email and link to ebay auctions to bring you up to speed. Please help out as its for a great cause and a beautiful little girl!

Hello Friends & Family - Many of you are aware already of my dear
friend Adam's 10 month old daughter and her recent run-in with cancer
which was found in her pelvic region. As a recap myself and Adam's
friend, Grant Capes, after hearing the news contacted as many people
as we could think of about contributing to a series of fundraising
benefits to help aid Adam and his wife Kathryn in the building medical
bills they will be facing. Grant has been working with Brad Rose of
Digitalis and Joe Tunis of Carbon Records on compiling a double disc
benefit cd that I will be doing the art for and featuring many, many
great acts of which we will reveal shortly. Joe Tunis has also been
working with Cory Card of Stone Baby in possibly creating a couple
benefit shows in Western New York again with some great names,
including one that is really, really, really exciting if it comes
through. All this info will be passed along as it becomes finalized.
Joe Blanchard of Blackest Rainbow is also creating his own benefit
compilation cd to be released simataneously including many UK artists.
Currently I have been busy compiling tons of donations in both
clothes, books, shoes and other material goods for Stella the first
shipment which is going out on Monday. I have also set-up an auction
page on ebay for all the albums, cds and artwork that has been donated
by several record labels, musicians and artists. Currently we have
artwork up from myself, a bunch of albums from Big Blood, Micah Blue
Smaldone and many more from the South Portland crew. All auctions
start at a reasonable 5 dollars!
We also are awaiting donations from Important Records, Ecstatic Peace,
Gown, Sunburned Hand and many more. We are accepting anything and
everything! Please get in touch with myself if you are interested in
donating.
Now for the most important news ... Stella had an incredible week and
things are looking bright! Please pass this email around, and hip
others onto this great cause because this is for a very important and
beautiful little girl!

I am sorry I didn't update this thread earlier. We were allowing the family time to grieve without being in the limelight. We are starting up the second round of auctions this weekend with all proceeds going towards Adam and Kathryn to help with the hospital bills. Anything past these proceeds will be donated back to the hospital or a children's cancer research group. We appreciate everyone who has offered help. It means the world to everyone involved.

thanks man. there is likely to be one or two more rounds depending what else comes in. lotus sound records, tomentosa, and sunburned hand have all said things are on the way. a friend is also possibly donating some limited edition band designed/signed doc marten's that she acquired while working for them ... so some good stuff to help such a hard situation. its been almost 2 weeks and we are still without words ...

3rd and final round!!!!

Hello Friends & Family - Thank you for holding tight on this 3rd and final auction. There is an amazing amount of goods collected including stuff from Tomentosa, Fire Museum Records, Lotus Sound, MP Landis, Sunburned Hand and ESP Disk. Also several things that didn't sell last time have been relisted including some lps from Ecstatic Peace (Thurston, MV/EE, X04, BYOP ...etc), a beautiful large photo print of night time Buffalo NY and plenty more.
We have been very fortunate by everyone's generous help as we have raised just about $1300 for Adam & Kathryn's medical bills and hopefully we can reach the $1700 amount!
Again thank you for all the help and donations. We all are very appreciative!
