[Hip Priest]

I'm being absolutely open about this one - it's composed entirely of selected tracks from the career of David Sylvian, from the late 1970's right up to 2005. I'll identify myself on the cover and hope that the recipient doesn't detest the entire thing. There is variety on there, from pop sounds to open form electronica compositions.

I hope it's a wise move, but I have reservations.

I especially hope that the track that lasts 38 minutes and 18 seconds isn't taking it too far! That said, if it was the same track being performed by Sonic Youth, with guitars, ala SYR6, it'd be popular enough I think.

Also, from my own point of view, I'd be happy to recieve a tape of one artist (otherwise I wouldn't enter one myself!) - if it were someone I was unaware of then it'd be a nice introduction and if it were someone I knew well it'd be a handy thing to have anyway.

for the receiptient of mine, my printer is a bit fucked so a crappy b/w cover is all i can offer. the technicolour dreamtape will have to wait!!!!

And on yours too!I've been listening to it all evening now.Aceness in spades.Particularly liked,also,the detail in the design as i can appreciate things like that.

the title of that one is a little bit obvious (tapes title will always be a lyric from a track contained within) its something ive done for years.

i thought i could send a cd this time because my cassette player *only* wouldn't record, but as of last weekend it won't even play either. so i wouldn't be able to listen to a received tape.
