This Week on What's This Called (Saturday, May 30th from Noon to 1 PM Pacific Time) Santiago Latorre from Barcelona, Spain will be laying down the infectiously glitchy electronic jazz with special guest host Austin Rich running all of the radio station dials in my absence.

This radio set will be but a taste of what is to follow that same evening on beautiful Interstate Avenue in North Portland!

Santiago Latorre will be headlining in the Rose City of Portland, OR on Saturday, May 30th at Disjecta, 8371 N. Interstate (just a few steps from the gigantic Paul Bunyan statue!)

The masked children of Interstate 5, Dead Air Fresheners are opening for him, and will be performing one of their latest special sets providing ambient wall of sound accompaniment to the haunting words of surreal science fiction author Jennifer Robin!

Also performing, and totally not to be missed, are Portland's own musique concrete pop duo Eet and the noise-cello heartbreaker Derek M. Johnson of Olympia, WA!

All for $5 and all for All Ages and brought to you by KPSU Portland's college radio!
