Seriously, I think trolling is a purely personal perception, unless the poster makes serious threats or tries to shut down the forum. In other words, no one should deserve to be banned... That's just crap.

Shouldn't there be a system where you get three warnings and then they kick you out?A bit like the one you get in workplaces.

I'm at 2 out of 3 at my work. I showed up 2 1/2 hours late yesterday because my alarms didn't go off. But yeah, that would be pretty effective for the board, especially coinciding with the report bad post button.
