i've never been to a go-away camp

one of my acquaintances, i guess, is at bible camp right now and really can't stand it. she gets homesick real easily.

at the second camp i went, i called my mom to come pick me up on sunday, and when she arrived, i didn't want to leave with her. that once was awful because it rained and everything i had was soaking and the guides or whatever you call them were mad at us for some reason (ah yeah, one of the dude's ex came along and she had a new boyfriend or something like that) and made us run around all day and do exercise and patrol and shit like that.

sucks for her, i can't imagine how bible camp can be.

aw, that's sucky. i had to go camping a bunch when sean was in boy scouts and whenever it rained everything went to shit. we were in ocala national forest for three days once.. and the bathroom/shower was a mile away.

yeah, she's not into religion at all but her mom thinks it'd be good for her. i have no comment.

i meant more like the activities and such, i mean, if she's with cool people, then that's great. being away from home and not having someone else there can be harsh, regardless of where or how it is.

and i see your showers/bathrooms a mile away and raise you a "who needs a shower?"
