Their first two LPs are my favorites easily, though there's still some of their stuff I need to listen to (Mostly their later stuff and Fake Can Be Just As Good). I'll probably pull La Mia Vita Violenta out later.

I still like "Fake..." more, but that is indeed amazing...the production, mood, stripped out instrumental bits, THE DRUMS...incredible stuff.

Mine goes Fake Can Be Just As Good, Expression, and 23 probably. Misery sometimes fights 23 for position.

I don't know... probably Lemons.
And Penny Sparkle has never really grown on me. I'm tempted to say it sucks, even though that would be disrespecting one of the first bands that got me out of the radio rock of the early '90s. I hold out hope that it's a grower. A slow grower. |

Nah...Penny Sparkle is ok. They got some really lames songs on there (Will ther be stars), but then they got masterpieces like Oslo.....so...it's an ok album imo. I like 23 much better....but, In an Expression, la vita, and Misery are the 3 best things to ever happen to me.....next to Sonic Youth...

Blonde Redhead did a ST for The Dungeon Masters film. (Yes, a documentary film on Dungeons and Dragons) ANyone listen to it? I'm trying to scrounge up the little cash I have to grab a copy. |
