Well, I wouldn't say Herzog and Kinski had a 'horrible' relationship as such. I think there was a lot of respect and love between them even. Seems like more of a tempestuous marriage than anything.
I must read Kinskis autobiography at some point. Herzog mentions it in the film at one point and, of course, claims it is largely ficticious. |

kinski looks like a girl, ha ha. his daughter is way way hot though. oh you guys ever seen "tess"? that's a polanski film actually. filmed in france though so it doesn't qualify for this thread, but what a beauty.

Check out this boxset of Herzog documentaries.....only available through his site though and not cheap @ 150 euros. You get a fair bit for your cash though. |

If you choose to open the booklet, it looks like you can play some of the stuff online.
It's a bit pricy though, yes.

A History of German Cinema. Looks decent, not exactly exhaustive, but I haven't read it all yet.
