actually, i do not snake, as i do not use mini boosts when in straight lines, i only use them when i need to turn

yeah, and snaking on straight lines is a bit annoying when used in online play I think

it always splits the races in two parts, those who can snake and those who cannot :/ I prefer using only drifting for it's made for: turning

btw, if you want to jump over that little hole at the beginning of Yoshi's race, you've got to drift and do a mini boost, just before you reach the hole, and then jump using R button really just before you reach it. The acceleration plus the jump will allow you to reach the other side
