A message from Bandcamp:

Greetings,

Bandcamp Friday returns on May 2.

For 24 hours, we’re waiving our revenue share, meaning more of your money goes directly to the artists and labels you support.

Since launching Bandcamp Friday in 2020, fans have paid over $130 million directly to artists and labels through this initiative. That support has helped them pay rent, fund tours, press records, and even raise money for causes they care about.

It’s a simple idea with real impact: buy music and merch you love, and give artists a boost when they need it most.

Mark your calendar. Start building your wishlist. Bandcamp Friday is coming.

FUGAZI TO MAKE ARCHIVAL CONCERT RECORDINGS AVAILABLE ON BANDCAMP

FIRST TWO SHOWS OUT NOW:
WASHINGTON, DC - 9/3/87
LONDON, UK - 11/4/02

FIND THE COMPLETE FUGAZI LIVE SERIES ONLINE HERE

Since 2011, Fugazi has maintained an online archive of all the band’s 1000+ performances that provides data, photos and ephemera from all their shows and makes available close to 900 concert recordings captured by both the band and their audience.

Dischord will now begin to make a selection of these recordings available on streaming services and Bandcamp for the first time.

On Friday, two shows were posted – the band’s first concert (9/3/87 - Washington, DC) and their to-date final performance (11/4/02 - London, UK). Further recordings will be added monthly through the end of the year.

The Fugazi Live Series website will remain online at dischord.com/fugazi_live_series and will continue to host the complete archive.

I went to that London show, it was my first (and obviously only)time seeing Fugazi I was hplyped to see them but was underwhelmed and disappointed by their performance. The support band (Erase Errata) frankly upstaged them.
