I love St. Anger... way better than the Black Album, Load, Reload and even Death Magnetic. I hate the idea that metal bands think they need to return to their roots to become 'good' (or that's generally what their fans think... I posted a lot on the Metallica messageboard when I was 11...). Sure, DM was a return to their old style in a way but it didn't entertain me that much.
