Heh, in the other forum I used to regulary part-take in, of the 120 regulars in on of the sub forums, there was about 800 lurkers. Ridiculous.
It's at it's peak during the holidays, or in this one case, eve night of the Oscars. I can remember some of the regulars making a temporary sticky thread calling out the 'guests' to come and post. Of the 800 or so lurkers, they managed to get about half a dozen to come and talk.
