Yeah, that is super weird. I'm pretty young I suppose for an SY fan (I really have no idea what the average age is, but given how long they've been around) but to me it's all about their 80s material and WM and 1000L. Not a huge fan of Goo or Dirty, though Dirty has some great stuff (JC is one of my faves of theirs, probably top 10). What's your all time favorite two albums of theirs, Hayden?
I think the main thing that irks me is people just defending it because of its hooks or it's catchiness. Most decent pop has both of those things in sundry amounts. Who gives a shit?
