The question is not what Rhys Chatham should you get, but what Rhys Chatham CAN you get.

If you want guitar stuff, Die Donnergotterer (I've spelt that wrong I know, but I can't be bothered to check the proper spelling) is good, and so is the Table of the Elements boxset, but the first is out of print (I think) and the second is expensive. There was a single CD best-of (Compendium) distilled from the box set, but I have a feeling that's not all that widely available.

If you want trumpet stuff, the NEON cd single is good, and so is the one that followed it (Septile). The CD on Wire Editions (Hard Edge) I'm not keen on.
