i realized the guitar thurston was using in vids that i saw isn't this auctioned guitar. in the vids it appears to be an epiphone dot 335 type... first clue is the humbucking pickups on epi- dot 335s as epi casino's have P90 types? and also from what i can tell its different from lee's casino replacement the red epi dot because in the video the guitar has a tail piece that locks to the end of the body where lee's epi dot does not have this. ok so now the cherry red guitar thurston is seen using in the vids seems likely that it is an epiphone riviera, the tailpiece is another clue of this... also no sign of the bigsby which could've easily been a later add-on... but still not likely the same guitar.

the vid is linked to chris corsano's site (www.cor-sano.com) under video for the short lived group called college girls gone wild, there is also another vid i found on youtube that has closer up images of this guitar with this particular group performing at the bookmill. from what i can tell these vids are also probably archived on www.ecstaticpeace.com as well.

another guess is the guitar thurston was using was borrowed and actually belongs(ed) to MV & EE??? who knows...
