These great-sounding outtakes, each with some acoustic instrumentation, are the same found on the
Unplugged bootleg. The first fourteen tracks also appear on the
Acoustic Motherfuckers bootleg (which, incidentally, fills out the remainder of the disc with cuts from '93 at Windmill Lane Studios in Dublin from the
Voodoo Brew bootleg). I omitted the tracks from '93 to keep this all from the Mick Taylor-era.
I've cited the sources as given on
Acoustic Motherfuckers (
Unplugged offers no sources), but have my questions.
12 probably recorded at Elektra Studios in Los Angeles between late '69 & early '70
5, 7, 14 probably actually recorded at Stargroves (Mobile) Studio, (Jagger's house) East End, Newbury, UK during mid-'69
9, 10, 13 probably recorded at Muscle Shoals Studios, Muscle Shoals, AL Dec. '69
If anyone has any input, please let me know.
