You're right. Judging by the new songs the new album will be wonderful. So there's High & Right, No Comprende, Landslide and Spanish Translation what they've recently played
live already. According to the interview they gave two weeks ago (see sirki's link above), the album is in the mixing stages now.And they said it would be more gloomy and dark compared to the recent records (this was not their wording, can't remember how they put it exactly)

btw, does anyone know who's producing it this time? They should just do it theirselves, or have their regular soundguy done it. I love what he did with Dark Dark Dark.
