An absurdly prolific poster, he's made 15,000 posts on this new board in less than a year.
Back at the old board, he made only some 200 or so posts in 2 years.
Cranky a great majority of the time, porkmarras used to start very intense fights with anyone at any given moment if he thought someone else in thread might think it was cute; he has gotten better with this issue. Don't bring me into this...I was just drunk on St. Pat's Day yesterday.
Due to ongoing efforts to antagonize, starts threads about me if I ever utter a peep of disapproval or even if I intelligently express a mere difference of opinion. His eventual rebuttal is always the same worn-out and lame repeated joke about my mental health, and he even coaxes other posters into believing all manner of lies about me.
Enjoys starting a Beatles-bashing thread, sometimes more than one in a single day even, whenever he feels it may further agitate me.
Flabberghastingly, he calls moderator Chris Habib a phony artist that does everything for money. When that fails to get a rise, pork then proceeds to tell chabib his art is shit, and that his own is the best in the world.
If he goes around megalomaniacally flaming a moderator, then it shouldn't be (unless you're dense) too difficult to realize what other inappropriateness porkmarras is capable of displaying.
Gives Sonic Youth low marks whenever the situation demands it; usually avoids any discussion of Sonic Youth altogether.
Hides any sense of agreement at all times unless you're in his clique.
Intentionally starts an argument in the Post Your Art or Die Thread maintaining that Picasso is not an artist he cares about at all when anyone can plainly see that Picasso is a huge influence on his art whether he acknowledges it consciously or not, either way he's a...
Jackass...pure and simple.
Kooky, incoherent writing is a porkmarras trademark and has consequently brought down the overall quality of the writing on this board as a result owing to his ever-pervasive presence.
Loves nothing more than to set the stage for an argument and get two people going at it if there's something (it's rare) of actual merit being discussed.
Mucks-up the board by flooding it with goofy topics (about himself usually or indirectly about himself because he's trying to annoy someone else) that bury the other topics. He tries to act legitimate every now & then because he's been called on it so many times.
No repect for the community...porkmarras only cares about himself (& often remarks as such), something which is evidenced, and hopefully, echoed-home by many of these points.
Other people besides myself have had numerous and ongoing clashes with him; mine is by no means an isolated case.
Posts, on average, around ten topics per day/nearly fifty posts per day and only in the last few months has made any legitimate posts. He does this to cover his ass in a way. He goes to mp3 blogs and posts links (of varying degrees of interest to me personally).
Queer, borderline-schizophrenic choice-of-words from this guy is what you can always expect...his personalized punctuation is done not for style, but merely to annoy...it's really not my place to criticize his thought-process, but it's so damn annoying to see it all the time everywhere you look.
Rises to the occasion at times and surprises you with actual thoughtfulness for about a minute, and then he goes back to being the louse that he always will be in a flash.
Starts multiple threads that are intentionally inflammatory about how Americans are inferior. I would estimate he's started at least twenty of these highly objectionable topics; and he usually does them in flood-fashion for a couple of days at at time to further exacerbate their potential for annoyance.
Trolls the board in the guise of a seemingly legitimate member and that's the crux of this whole a-to-z biscuit. I underscore the remark by pointing out his repeated underminings of Sonic Youth. One's general impression is a sense that he's not a fan of the band that owns the forum.
Usually strives to convey an extremely uncaring and detached, self-centered attitude and conveys and an extremely negative persona.
Vies for attention with anyone that may be getting it at any given moment due to an apparent envious nature.
Wtf?...this is what you routinely say to yourself when visiting this board and seeing the vast amount of vanity, futility, ignorance, elitism, bad taste, and stupidity...if it were not for a few outstanding members (& I don't mean me...I've been dragged down by pork and the shit-eater asshole crew for a long time and have never hit stride on this new board) than this place would be truly unbearable.
X-factor...he's the board's character-giver, and as much as you may think he has no impact, you are very wrong about that. Now, most of you probably love the board, but I'm telling you it was better when people actually wrote more about things that matter more, and he's been a very bad influence here. We had a chance to make a fresh start here, and he's basically ruined that for me and I suspect many other people here as well.
Strike the 'X' and see how the board is. It will be better.
Yuck...some of the images and text porkmarras has posted is obscenely grotesque and classless. He directly or indirectly encourages much of the tasteless behavior exhibited on this message board.
Zzzz...he sure does make this place boring with all the omnipresent superficiality; he makes it an annoying read as well with his uppity attitude.
